Triad Elite was founded by a sports chiropractor and father of four who spent years on the sidelines watching the supplement industry fail young athletes — and decided to do something about it.
Where it started
I'm a sports chiropractor with a focus on functional nutrition. I've spent over a decade working with athletes of all ages — helping them move better, recover faster, and stay in the game longer. I also have four kids. Three of them are deep in competitive sports right now: one playing college volleyball, one in high school volleyball, and one in middle school baseball.
For years, my wife and I did the travel ball circuit. Early mornings, long drives, weekend tournaments. And the whole time, I kept watching what was being handed to these kids — sugary sports drinks, gas station snacks, adult supplements with doses that had no business being in a growing body. As someone who works in the health field every single day, it was hard to watch.
I see it in my practice too. Kids eating processed food, not sleeping enough, running their bodies into the ground with no real recovery strategy. The research is clear — stress, poor sleep, and nutritional gaps are holding young athletes back. But the supplement industry wasn't solving it. They were just shrinking adult products and slapping a cartoon on the label.
So my wife and I built a stack that filled in the gaps. Formulas designed specifically for athletes ages 8–18, with clinically studied ingredients at youth-appropriate doses, free from the junk that doesn't belong in a kid's body. Triad Elite is what we give our own kids. That's the standard we hold every product to.

Dr. Troy McMurtray
Co-Founder & CEO
Sports chiropractor, kinesiologist, and father of four athletes — including a college volleyball player, a high school volleyball player, and a middle school baseball player. Dr. Troy has spent over a decade in the health field with a focus on biomechanics and functional nutrition. He coaches his son's travel baseball team on weekends and co-founded Triad Elite LLC with his wife to give every young athlete access to the clean, science-backed nutrition they deserve.
Dawn McMurtray
Co-Founder & Business Operations
Chiropractor, homeschool mom, business manager, and the operational backbone of Triad Elite LLC. Dawn brings both clinical expertise and the lived experience of raising four children, three being competitive athletes in the travel sports circuit and college. She co-founded Triad Elite to build the stack she and Dr. Troy couldn't find anywhere else.
